Goldie Soetianto is a Sydney-based cinematographer, colourist and producer. As a queer Asian-Australian woman, she is actively interested in telling stories that feature diversity in gender representation, ethnicity, and sexuality. She has a decade of experience shooting, with three feature films under her belt, short films that have played in competition at festivals and a multitude of TVCs, food, fashion, music videos and branded content.
As one half of YouTube Channel Deerstalker Pictures, Goldie has served as producer and cinematographer on over 50 short films and skits. Exploring pop culture fandoms in anime, video gaming, cosplay and fashion subculture communities, Deerstalker Pictures has amassed over 65 million views and 500,000 subscribers. They are currently releasing 1 For All, an original fantasy comedy web series.
